Star Party
Join us for a chance to look up at the sky and slow down for a few minutes to reflect on the universe. Drop by for just a few minutes or stay for the whole two hours. We'll look through telescopes, explore constellations in the patch of sky we can see, and have fun conversations about our place in the vast cosmos (or whatever folks feel like talking about in that setting). Feel free to bring blankets for lying back to look at the sky, and notebooks or sketchpads for drawing or writing about what you see. You can even bring musical instruments if you feel inspired. And of course bring your curiosity and questions!
All are welcome! Hosted by the School of Creative Thought & Expression, in collaboration with the Physics & Engineering Dept., Songwriting Club, and FYC (Living Lightly: Ways of Seeing and Being in the World).
Questions? Contact Prof. Todd Duncan (tduncan@pacificu.edu).
All events are listed in Pacific time zone unless otherwise noted.
